In order to realize its multi-purpose operation in diversified businesses and the self-sustained refractory material production, Taiwan Cement Corporation had purchased Ten-Chen in 1973 and is renamed to be Kuan-Ho Refractories Industrial Corporation. as its investment transfer enterprise. Ever since such an investment transfer, this Company has accepted the managing rules to pay close attention to the cost, quality, research and development of Taiwan Cement Corporation as its operation targets.

In 1976, Kuan-Ho had entered into a technical cooperation with wellknown Japanese Shinagawa refratctories company to usher its advanced technique for production of refractory material. Also a huge investment in building a new 1850℃ super-high temperature tunnel kiln and fully automatic segregation preventive hydraulic/friction molding press had been placed for betterment of material distribution and conveying system. Recently Kuan-Ho had purchased the equipments required for Quality Control and R/D activities thus augmenting the productivity, increasing product production to enhance the level of production technique to set up the foundation for R/D for strenghtening the services to the customers.

In April of 1991, this Company had activated Construction Department to take over the tasks for furnace construction and design and the actual achievement includes #6 Kiln in Suao Factory, South-East Soda Lime Kiln, Youn-Fong-Yu CFBC Co-Generation Furnace, Tong-Ho Steel and CSC RH oven & #6 Bloom slab plateform,City incinerator and Industry incinerator Construction operation. Therefore Taiwan Cement Corporation had firmly signed into a long-term Contract for maintenance and furnace construction.

In the year 1995, Kuan-Ho furtherly signed a further cooperation contract with Germany OLREFCO, introduced to use Optical Microscope, Laser computerized particle size analyser,Hot Torsion Tester, Thermal linear expansion computer testing machine, Thermal shock (spalling) tester, HMOR testing machine, RUL testing machine, Flame photometer etc., all Computer-equipped fully automatic, high precision instrumentations for the laboratory research utilizations. Thus product quality reaches the same level of European Community and German DIN standard for MgO-chrome and MgO-spinel bricks widely used in cement industry rotary kilns.
